Meet The Team
The History of Mission Home Remodeling
The name, “Mission,” has 2 meanings: the first being that San Francisco’s first building was the Mission Dolores. I genuinely admire the history of this beautiful city and wanted to pay respect to that.
The second being that we are on a mission with every job to go above and beyond your expectations. Every member of our crew takes great pride in this company mission.
My team and I do our best work for our own satisfaction, but mostly to see the reactions our clients’ give when their vision becomes reality. The joy on their faces keeps us motivated, and we will not stop until that mission is accomplished.
“Your Dream Is Our Mission”
Owner – Matan Schejter
I’ve been in business since I was a young teenager building side walks and back yards while slowly moving into bigger things. During my military service, I was in charge of building camps for the soldiers to live in. When I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, my passion for building reignited since I fell in love with the architecture here. I love working in these homes, updating them, and proving that you can keep that old home feel while making it modern and beautiful. That’s why I started Mission Home Remodeling.
Co-Owner – Guy Jennings
Guy has been in the remodeling business for over 30 years. His love of his craft makes him just want to keep doing more and more projects. But his favorite part is making clients happy
Interior Designer – Sarah Miller
Sarah first became interested in interior architecture and design during her frequent travels. Fascinated by design, from boutique hotel interiors to homes, restaurants, and retail spaces, her passion grew. This lead her to her decision to enroll at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Fast forward 5 years, she found herself working in the construction field doing residential design. She enjoys listening closely to her clients wants and vision in order to translate who they are into the nature of the design. Sarah believes understanding what is important to the homeowner results in a space that is a reflection of the individuals meant to inhabit them.
When Sarah is not working, she enjoys traveling, exploring new spaces with creative design elements, experiencing creative ways of dining, challenging herself in fitness, listening to music, and spending time with family.
Super Intendant – David Aluf

Now, as the Super Intendant at Mission Home Remodeling, David brings a different style of experience with his larger than life personality! His easy going energy, confidence, and the way he quickly takes control of any situation brings a calmness to what could be a stressful process. His favorite part of the job is working directly with the homeowners, making the remodeling and renovation projects fun and enjoyable for everyone involved!
